Motorcoach professionals recognize industry standouts at EXPO
January 16, 2019 – Motorcoach operators, drivers, mechanics and industry partners gathered in Fort Lauderdale for education, networking, and to honor outstanding industry leaders for peak performance and achievement in the field. Awards celebrations were held during each of the general sessions culminating with the naming of UMA’s Vision Award winners. The Vision Award represents UMA’s top honor and each year a large fleet operator and a small fleet operator are recognized.
Innovations in this year’s competitions included livestreaming the driver competition which, for logistical reasons is held off site, and conducting the maintenance competition in the exhibit hall where the attendees were able to view the event.
