The Bus & Motorcoach Academy - Classes Begin July 1!
Are you ready to take your business to the next level? The next session of the Bus & Motorcoach Academy begins on July 1st. This is your opportunity to make an investment in yourself, your employees, and your company. With courses for both management and drivers, the Academy's on-line courses provide industry specific information and tactics that can be immediately applicable to your business operations. Companies who have employees complete the Clarence Cornell School of Business and receive their Accredited Passenger Transportation Operator designation, will receive a letter for you to submit to your financing companies for assistance in obtaining competitive financing rates. For those enrolled in the Motorcoach Operator/Driver Program, companies will receive evidence your drivers have completed the program, in the form of a letter, for you to submit to your insurance company for those competitive insurance renewals.[More Information].

May 26, 2009 UMA Member Alert - Charter Service Rule Comes Under Attack Rep Adam Schiff (D-CA) from the 29th District in California has issued a “Dear Colleague” letter to all Members of the U.S. House of Representatives asking them to support legislation that would essentially render the recently revised Charter Service Rule ineffective. Join the UMA and the March of Dimes in our fight to help give all babies a healthy start with Miles for Babies! The Miles for Babies program gives UMA members, and the entire motorcoach industry, the opportunity to support the March of Dimes and become a champion for babies, by raising urgently needed funds to help prevent birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. Help us reach our goal of $500,000 one mile at a time by pledging to donate 10 cents for every mile driven by your fleet on September 24, Miles for Babies Day.
